Landing gear problems

So...it sounded like the gears were skipping....so we changed out the gear box on the landing gear and also the motor with gear box.....so all is new..once the motor gets a strain on it...it also sounds like it is skipping gears.....however...I noticed when that happens everything stops and starts....and sometimes in rapid session.....so is there a breaker somewhere that resets itself.....I cannot find one so far....I have a 2011 3665RE....I have attempted to trace the wires etc and it all leads behind the basement wall?..does anyone know if and where they are located.....my batteries test at 12.4 even while I am attempting to use the landing gear motor.. Need help as to where I might look for breakers that apparently need to be replaced....oh..and I can crank it by hand without it skipping any gears....so to me that would rule out the gearboxes and motor....
Any help appreciated....

My guess is that the landing gear use the same resetable breakers that we all have on the wall. Positive battery lead goes to them. Easy test would be jumping positive battery lead to motor to see if the noise is gone. John

Ok...we see the breakers on the wall...one appears to go to the hydraulics....and one with several, wires going up to the switch box .....so I would assume it would be that one.....of course...it is installed in such a manner I can not see any writing on it...will try with a mirror.....can you get these from an auto parts store?...

Stan, sorry I didn't get back to you. We are on the road with spotty Internet.
Sounds like you have done due diligence troubleshooting. Yes it sounds like a breaker resetting. The breaker is on the bulkhead, not familiar with your 2011, mine is a 2007, but I will dig up some pictures of that area on mine. An auto parts place will have a new breaker, I would replace it. Should be marked.
I found this:

The packaged fuse is just to show a fuse, not the amperage

Ozz....I have located the 50 amp breakers thanks to jcurtis934 and tracing wires....one appears to go to hydraulics and one to switch box for landing gear.....I could not locate at our local auto parts as we are kinda out in the middle of nowhere.... so I ordered online....a 12v 50amp shortstop auto reset breaker...I plan to test as suggested....not sure what else could be causing the problem....this is my first major event in 6 years with my Monty...so have to take it in stride just so I get it fixed before we leave for Florida 1st week of March....hand cranking is a touch job and pretty damn slow....thanks for everyones help....will let everyone know how it turns out...

If not too late to change, you might consider bumping up to an 80amp breaker.

We don't have auto leveling but just had the same issue with our Montana. The motor gears were all chewed up so we replaced it. When it would get to a certain point the motor would get bogged down and start skipping or slipping. Even after replacing the gearbox the new motor continued. We removed the main landing gear leg and were able to manually raise and lower it but were unable to do so with the follower landing gear leg. There is no way to grease the insides and the worm gear went bad. As soon as we replaced the follower leg, all is good! There are YouTube videos on it that was helpful to us.
