New Montana, need help with washer.
We have a brand new 2015 Montana. Problem is the washing machine has very little space to hook up plumbing. Any suggestions? Also, has anyone ever installed their own dryer vent. We used the indoor vent in old camper but not enough room in this new one to hook it back up. And RV dealer is extremely high priced to have this done.

Welcome to the forum. We used hoses that have 90 ddegree fittings. The dryer, we went to a manufactured 90 to flat discharge vent. As far as installing thru wall, line up with a slight downward slope to the outside, mark the center, then with a very small drill bit, test drill around the center from the inside, when you are sure there is nothing in the wall(other then foam) drill thru the center hole to the outside and use that as you guide hole for a 4" hole saw.

One our trailer I was able to run the vent straight out the back... I bought a chrome vent unit and it fit perfectly. It sounds like I have more room for hose so I can't comment about that...

I think we are going to take out more at the bottom so it will sit on floor of closet making it easier to get to hook ups. will also be able to pull out more from wall to attach indoor vent.

Check out John's post just recently where he shows how he handled that nightmare of having the w/d in the closet...

If there ever was a time that called for a mid year design change, the time would be now IMHO!!!

Year on model would help.
