Last man standing.

My High School class as a Facebook page. More frequently death notices are posted as the years pass. It dawned on me that if you are the last man standing, no one will know. They will all be dead.

I know what you mean. Our list keeps growing. Lost my best friend/neighbor/classmate who I had known since about 4 years old a couple years ago.
Reminds me of a story I read some time ago. I think it was about the last living WW I vet. Said he knew that some day they would all be gone. Just never occurred to him that he may be the last one.

It's bad loosing friends. I just hope you are "the last man standing" among yours, Stiles. Larry

Tough to lose someone close that you've known for that long. How lucky you are though to have known and had a close friend that long.
