It is a nice comfortable, 76 degrees, here atop the mountain in Boone County, WV. Now granted, that temporary comfortable temperature is largely due to the air conditioning being pumped into my office. Temp is supposed to be 96 today with a heat index of 105 ouside. Enjoy it Ozz, I think I will just stay inside today!!

I ‘m looking at two digital thermometers, one is showing 101°F While the other one is showing 105°F. The sensors are located in the shade near each other. I’m not sure just how long it’s been since I’ve seen the triple digit number here. Like Bingo said it’s holding about 76°F with the A/C’s inside where I'm at. I don't plan to be doing any honey-do jobs in this heat.

OK, to make you feel better, it's all the way up to 86, but in the shade it's nice, the humidity has dropped down.
I got a call from the guy that took over my business, he was working on one of my accounts, he said it was 140 on the asphalt roof, I was worried about him, so I went over to the freezer and got out an ice cream bar...
I spent 20 years servicing that roof and it's 9-15 ton A/C condensing units.

The check is in the mail son, should arrive on 31 Sept.... Hope you enjoy it. I had to auction my burial plot to raise the dough. Your man on the roof called and said he has suffered 3rd degree burns up on the roof......

Hello OZZ

Well after the fiasco last week I may be able to come and join you after I tell the owner about his management problems when he gets back in town Monday. LOL

You don’t list me as a company official with the Fed’s without consulting me first.

Cold front coming through today. High right now at 4pm is only 98. Sure better than yesterday's 106 official high. The forecast is showing several days at or under 100, a "nice break" from the 9 consecutive days over 100 degrees. I can see trees in the distance but nothing close to this site!

I heard that the weather was breaking, now they warn of severe storms, all that humidity...cooler weather=severe storms.
Bummer...
