Oops, sorry but I just saw this post. Yes, we received a "repair kit" and I use the term loosely.
It consists of an extremely powerful smelling liquid, powder, a mixing cup and a stir stick. When we opened the liquid, the odor was so strong, we immediately resealed it. There's no way we're going to breathe those fumes. A sheet was inclosed acknowledging that it is a hazardous material and after smelling it, I thoroughly agree. It could put formaldehyde to shame!
We have an appt. in several weeks with the dealer for some various warranty issues so plan to let them try this stuff. We'll probably leave the unit overnight and have them air it out really good.
If this is a corian countertop it's a very poor quality and corian should be ashamed to even produce it.
