I don't know what you have, but your not missing anything with the flat screen. Terrible TV.

Couple of screws up from the bottom and one in the center coming down from the top. I think you have to remove the center speaker (pull off that bung in front of the DVD player), then there is another screw from the bottom of the speaker frame into the top of the television.

I posted just recently on the replacement of our living room TV which suddenly died in our '05 3400. We replaced it with a Vizio 32 inch Flat HDTV from WalMart (about $650). Fits nicely in the opening with no gap showing, and as a bonus you get extra storage behind it.
As mentioned there are two screws in the bottom and one at the top. Rather than attempt to dismantle the E Center and fireplace, we just cut the screws off with a thin blade hacksaw. Ten minutes and it was out and in the dumpster.

The Vizio rides on the bed in the bedroom for now til we figure the best way to "travel" it.

All of the above. Locks up, remote doesnt work, terrible picture, sometimes it wont turn off without unplugging. They could not find a cheaper piece of junk if they tried. Been waiting for a replacement from Keystone for over a month. I am sure I will br replacing it in the future as others here have.
