Jensen 19" 12 volt TV & universal remote

I have a 2012 Montana 3100RL that came from the factory with a 32" Samsung in the living room and a Jensen JE 1911 in the bedroom. I recently bought a roof mounted satellite system from a company here in Canada called Shaw Direct. Their booklet lists only four codes to program the universal remote to a Jensen TV:
10761,10815,10817 and 11326. None of them work. I contacted ASA Electronics who manufactures the Jensen TV and they informed me that "Shaw Direct does not have our current Jensen TVs in their library. It would be on them to provide a numerical code for the ASA remote preamble which they will be responsible to install into their chip in their Motorola Shaw Direct remote". (Note this not a "current" TV but at least 6 yrs old.)
I next contacted Shaw and their response was try finding an older Shaw remote or perhaps buy a new universal remote from Logitech or Harmony because any of these "might work".
I'm getting the real runaround from these companies. Can anyone out there who may have experienced the same problem help me out?
I realize this is not a critical issue because the universal still turns the dish on and the Jensen remote controls the TV but having to use two remotes is still a pain.

We had that same TV in our rig, upgraded to a larger Jensen 12 volt TV, hoping the remote features would work with our Dish remote as a bonus. No such luck. So we just live with having two remotes in use, one for the Dish and one for the TV.

I have been looking for a working Jensen code on many, many forums for 6 years. I am still using the two Jensen and DirecTV remotes.

I gave up and replaced the TV with a name brand, no 12v but not a loss to me. I think it was a 22 or 24in, better picture and recognized remote.

I know this is an older thread but I contacted Jensen tech support via twitter (ASA electronics), and they indicated there is no universal remote that will control their tv other than the one supplied, so I guess case closed and probably why people have been looking for years to do it...or at least with the TV that I have which is the JE5015
