MIMF, looks like we were posting at the same time. Thanks for the tips about the fluid level in the reservoir. I will check that this weekend when we take the unit out on our first trip, and will give you a shout if I have any questions.

Wordsmith, I share your relectance (or what I take to be your reluctance) to lose a single beautiful pine tree. I have to do a considerable bit of 'threading the needle' to get my Montana in and out of our backyard storage. Even though it may be treasonous I will post a link to our previous fifth/wheel which shows a portion of our back yard. [ if I can remember how to do it ]

padredw, there just might be more pines in your yard than I have in mine! Truthfully, I have always been reluctant to lose pines despite the danger they pose in ice storms. We had one several years ago, and the entire neighborhood woke in the night to their snapping and popping. That was a brutally unpleasant night as we had to worry about one possibly hitting the house or the TT; several roofs in the neighborhood actually had damage, but we were fortunate, you might say. Still, I have not had the pines removed, but I believe the size of the Montana leaves me little option, especially as when I was maneuvering to align the unit on the gravel pad we have, I came within inches of broadsiding it on a sizeable pine. The pale look on Marsha’s face convinced me it and some of its brethren had to go.
