Basement Width for 3850FL
Does anyone know what the actual usable width of the pass-through basement area is on the 3850FL models. Trying to decide on applicability and pricing of a sliding shelf unit on the off side. Ironic, thanks to the unending influence of the MOC, proposed mods are being investigated, designed and prioritized even before the rig is scheduled to be built!!

We will figure out new ways to part you from your money. You'd think the forum could get funding from the after market folks in some way.

I don't mind it at all, just trying to make the rig more compatible for when DW needs something out of the basement and I am not around. We had originally intended this mod on the previous rigs, but really want to get it done on this one. I figure I will have all winter to work on the various mods that we have already identified, just need to put a budget together to make it happen before the initial Easter trip for next year.

Larry measured it at 25". Now I am back to pondering. Mor/Ryde drawer slides are 20" and 29". Might have to resort to the ones that you make to a custom width by providing your own 3/4" plywood. At least I have time to think about it!
