I supervise a fleet garage, where we were having running problems with Fords, mass airflow sensor had grit build up in a short time. We used Napa brand air filters made by Wix (Dana) corp. Wix is the largest filter company in the world. Ford training told my mechanics to use only Ford products because they are designed properly, with oil impregnated media.Wix reprsentaive went back to factory and told them the problem. turns out Wix changed filter design to match Ford. Don't sell OEM's short. Tim.
