Wire looms on the brake wires.
Of all the places not to use wire looms to protect the brake wires is crazy. Rocks and stuff can hit the wires and lets not forget the fact that they rub up against the suspension causing wear over time.
I was going to buy black looms, but had some blue colored looms laying around. Hey, it at least they showed up better in the picture!

I too did not like the bare wires hanging out there. But your blue ones look better than my basic black ones.

I put these on my Monty shortly after I got it. Mine are red. Makes sense to me!

One more thing for the "have to do list". I will never get caught up at this rate..

The bare wires were brought to my attention at the fall rally with the suggestion to protect by the Mor-Ryde rep. I had some black loom and installed immediately and you can hardly see it. Sure wish I would have waited until I had a much brighter color to improve the visibility also.......Great idea and I should have shared it on this forum but didn't and wish I would have. Didn't realize that it was a common practice to not protect wires that are rubbing the suspension.

Before putting mine on I pulled the wire an inch or so out of the hole in the axle. Then I wrapped the wires with several turns of tape and pushed them back in the hole. Gives them a little extra protection where they come thru the hole.
