Bedroom TV
Has anyone changed out the 19" Jensen tv in the bedroom? We don't care about it being 12V, just want to add a larger screen and wondered if the anyone had done this and if the current mount worked or if it had to be replaced?

You might look at the mount and see if it has any information on it such as manufacturer and model number. The flat screen mounts typically are made for a range of TV sizes such as 14" to 32", 26" to 40", etc. I would guess it would handle a larger size TV.
I bought an articulating mount from wayfair.com when I changed out my living room TV. Quick delivery and good sturdy mount. You can see the varied ranges of sizes the mounts fit on the web site.

We put a 24" Naxa TV/DVD combo in our bedroom, and then put the bedroom TV in the pass-through/basement.
What I like about the Naxa is that it is either 12v or 120v, and it has the built-in DVD player. I got a new articulating mount from OZ (thanks OZ) which allows the TV to move about 16" closer toward the bed. Mix a larger screen and closer viewing, with a 12v capacity, and I'm once again a "happy camper".
I now have it set-up that ALL of my TV's work on 12v including the 32" Vizio in the living room, the Winegard DirecTV HD satellite dish and the DirecTV HD DVR. They're all using an 800w inverter that is fed by 4 - 6v golf cart batteries and recharged by a solar system.

Well finally got the new TV installed. What seemed to be a simple project turned into a not so simple project. We installed a 27" Samsung, that would have worked just fine using the existing mount. That is if we could have removed the mount off the back of the old TV. 2 of the 4 screws holding it came out fine and the other 2 as it turns out are permanently attached. Tried everything to get them out and they are not coming out. Called the MFG of the mount to see if I could purchase the base plate and still waiting to hear. Visited my local dealer and they showed me the mount they use now and it was pretty reasonable so we replaced the mount. Should have done it in the first place, would have saved time and sore hands from trying to remove the screws. Oh well - guess we'll sell the Jensen with complete mount included!!!

Probably used Locktite or similar to keep them from backing out during travel.
