Spendide Combo W/D rattling the trailer - normal??
Is it normal for the Splendide Combo W/D to rattle the entire Montana on the spin cycle??? Or did I overload mine??

Ours rattles the trailer too but, when the load is balanced, it is not very bad. Try keeping your loads on the small side and balanced and you should be good to go.

Blamb, it rattles ours too on the spin cycle. We have a king size bed and I will wash and dry just one sheet and one pillowcase at a time. It seems to help with the spin cycle rattle and it dries much faster!

We agree with Icehouse. Two loads for the bedding and it cuts down on the shimmies a lot.

Don't try baking a cake and using the Splendide at the same time. Our use to shake the unit and it would do it every time.

Get used to it. We also had vibration from the Kenmore we had in the former rig. We find the worse time for vibration is at the end of the final wash spin cycle.

Whew, ok, I am glad that this is normal! Thanks so much for the replies!
I don't mind it so much. I find it entertaining. It motivates me to diet.

Ours will shake the Monty a little too; especially when it has a larger load in it. I haven’t had a chance to see if will make a difference or not but after the “big fall over” where I had to replace a few parts in the Splendide, I bolted it to the floor. It is now secured on all four legs. I believe this might help take away some of the vibration but don’t know for sure yet. I anxiously await the next camping season to find out!

Ours also shakes some with the spin cycle. We balanced the w/d, put out a tripod, chocked the wheels really well and that lessened the shake.

We had ours installed last month but did not get to use until 2 weeks ago. At the high speed spin cycle it would shake so bad my wife would have to use all her weight against it to keep it from vibrating out the door. I looked at the trouble shooting section in the manual and it said to make sure the shipping brackets were removed from the back during installation. They were not removed so I did so today and what a world of difference. Also noticed the flex vent tube was torn on one end and the hose clamp was loose so I fixed those also. You may want to look at the back and make sure yours were removed. More quality work from Camping World. Their sign in the stored said 25000 installs, I should have asked how many were correct.

Ours, located in the front of our rig to the right of the bedroom closet, shakes and rattles our trailer, too.

We installed our washer dryer ourselves. That way I know it's done right.
Yes, it does vibrate somewhat, but then you know it's on & working .
I had to cut a hole for the dryer. No problem, Thanks to Denise at Montana, who sent me the locations of the studs. They were very helpful to me.
My wife just loves the combo....Now..No more Laundromats!
