5th wheel wash and wax???

What mobile wash company or RV wash near Ft. Worth is best for getting a Montana washed and waxed including the roof? Ours is only 3 months old and not probably quite ready yet but is getting close. Any help and recommendation would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for replying.

Doug--I don't know about FW but take a trip to Boerne and use Exquisite Mobile Wash--210-722-4999. Might consider staying at Alamo Fiesta RV Park also. They did a great job on my 2006 Monty.

Tim and Susan,
Thank you for the info on a great mobile wash company. I'll contact them when our adventures take us near Boerne. Blessed travels to you and yours!

I would not let anybody use a power washer...it may drive water where you don't want it.

I have owned to other 5'ers before purchasing my current one. I plan to stay on top of the exterior more on this one. Any suggestions on how often to wash the roof?

In Florida we wash twice and condition in may before rainy season once per year.

Forgot, No power washing.

The power washer we have at home will put a groove in concrete.

Mobile RV Wash and detail

Edit: My initial response below...I did not see that the OP was a year old...oh well...

We just got back from spending some time at The Vineyards Campground in Grapevine. There is a guy that comes in there and does a ton of business washing and waxing rigs, but I can't remember the company name, and I have never inquired about the pricing. I believe he had a "214" area code on the truck so he probably goes all over the metroplex. If I had the campground brochure with me I could provide his contact info because I think they advertise on the park map. I would suggest calling the Vineyards and ask them for the name.

I put a mat under mine to keep it from damaging my drive while I use it. A mechanic says he put a 2X4 under his to minimize the vibration affect. I also use various tips to avoid damage to the coach while washing.

There are a couple of companies in Yuma, AZ who wash and hand wax 40' RVs for $120 (truck is $20 more). They are very popular and do hundreds of rigs each month during the winter season. They all use a pressure washer. Not to clean the RV, brush and soap do that, but to apply water to wet the RV and then rinse after the wash. They use a wide spread tip and it is held way away for the rig.

This is much like you would do at home with a hose. The difference is the water in Yuma contains high concentrations of salt. The vendors there bring a tank of Reverse Osmosis (RO) water which they use, via the pressure washer, as it is mineral free. It drys without spotting and doen't require wiping to dry it.

I had just watched a Youtube video with Mike Phillips. He was using a cannon-adapter onto your power washer. It really helps to soap up the coach and let the suds work away. In the past I have used a brush and applied the soap to the rv and then scrubbed it. I like his method better. Going to give it a shot. I think I am going to apply some heavier wax to the nose-so bug removal is easier.
