King or Queen
We had the king size bed in the motorhome and are wondering if there is a reason to choose the queen size over the king size bed in the 3402rl due to more room and easier making of the bed. Thank you

We had them remove the king from ours. We're used to a queen and had a great queen mattress to install. We love the extra room and with the heavy weight mattress working under the bed is hard enough without a heavy weight king up there.

We went from a king to a queen size. No regrets, it does create a little extra room.

We have a king. It does take up a lot of room. And it does make it harder to make the bed. But I love the king. We have king at home and are used to the extra room. We would not change.

Ditto on the Queen. We like the extra room around it. We had a King in the last rig.

We have a king at home and a king in the 5'er. That was one of the requirements for any trailer we got, had to have a king. We'd "kill" each other with anything smaller. Yeah, kind of a pain to make, but still worth it.

Queen here as well, the extra move around space to us is huge. I think you will find the opinions just about evenly split on this subject. Good luck with your decision.

If you're used to a king, it's hard to go back to a smaller bed in my opinion.

We have a king and like it. Making the bed takes a few minutes more, but I think it is worth it.
Would not go back to a queen.

The king bed is the main reason we traded campers. It's a little tight to make up, but we spend more time sleeping than making it back up.

We have had the king bed in both Montana's. The 3750 has plenty of room on both sides of the bed to allow it to be made up. On our 3400, the trick we learned from the forum, was to slide open a front closet door to gain a little room for the posterior regions of the anatomy. I would think this would work for any units with a front bedroom. I could not imagine trying to sleep on a queen bed after having the king size for years and years.

We had a king in the stick house and a king in the trailer for several years. However, we just switched the king for a queen in the rig, and we LOVE the extra room we know have in the bedroom. We're glad we made the switch.

King at home, king in the Monty. We need the extra room when the fur kids take up half the space. Plus we don't live in the bedroom so the space that would be gained would be no biggie.

We have a king and love it. So do the two dogs who sleep with us. Not hard to make or lift up to get to storage, but does take up a lot of room. We dont care about the loss of space of a King vs a Queen, we only use the bedroom to sleep, read, or watch a little tv. We have a queen in the house, and the wife is bugging me for a king there as well.

We had a double bed in our 22ft. Rialta and a poodle that slept with us. We were miserable sleeping and we're used to our king size bed at home. So when we bought our Monty that was definitely a requirement king size bed. Love it! Especially after adding memory foam to the mattress. It makes for a great nights sleep. Making it up is no big deal! Sweet dreams.
