Graphics -- Second set problems!

Well I have to report that those beautiful graphics that all you wonderful folks put on my rig a couple of years ago have already started to shrink and peel. It's not terrible as of yet but it would appear that the "new" graphics are going the way of the old ones! I'll post a couple of pictures in a few days.

I guess the only way to not have the graphics problem is to have the thing painted! Or just go naked. I saw D&M's naked rig and it didn't look OK.

Once again thank you to all those that worked on my graphics problem and I'm sorry they didn't last longer! Dennis and Mary Kay

I would think a plane white Montana looks a lot better than a one with Graffics that are peeling off.
Dennis save your money and get them painted on.............Or go out and buy a new montana

Our graphics are starting to go bad after 5 years. Not sure what we will do but will not replace them with anything from Keystone or one of their vendors. we have a friend in the graphics business here local and he is going to see what he can do. I like the mountains and have no problem with the Montana name but would like the graphics to be less "busy"

My new ones are still in the garage in their shipping box. It's the only way I know for sure they won't peel.

Lonnie,
I think you've got the right idea.

It breaks my heart to see them going bad after so many wonderful folks worked so hard. Oh, well it is what it is!

Well don't feel alone. We had graphics replaced last year and the same ones are peeling again. We will probably look for an alternative.

I have posted this before and maybe it's time to do it again. www.dontdriveugly.com is where I got mine for the truck and they are three years old and looking good as new. These folks specialize in RV's and trucks and I trust them implicitly. I have no stake in them and haven't seen them for two years. Steve, the owners son, took pictures of the front of my rig in case he needs to make that one for me in the future. He has kept it on file all this time. I think the folks at Burlington are trying but not doing very well. Sorry you had to go thru that Dennis. Not sure how mine will fair this summer in the south Arizona heat and sun. One thing for sure is: We will see.........

BTW: These folks are in Apache Junction, AZ and because of this I don't think the sun seems to be a problem for them. They produce most of their graphics themselves in their shop.

Lonnieb, My new replacements are also still in the box, and as far as I know they still look like new, after a year and a half.

George-- You've got a new TV so why not a NEW MONTE to go along with it! Sure would be nice to show it off at the Fall Rally!

I too have graphics in a box but I'm thinking of leaving them there. Has anybody ever gotten a quote on having the front airbrushed with something? All of my graphics except for the front are fine.

I'm thinking something like a big old eagle combined with the American flag would look spectacular up there.

Paul I also have almost a full extra set. I cked around and a guy would air brush mine for aprox 500.00$ but I changed mine and clear coated them instead. a DIY backyard project. They still look great and it has been a yr and a half and it sets outside so I did the back cap this spring.
