Bedroom Air Conditioner Vibrating

We have used our bedroom air conditioner only twice since we bought our Monty. It is vibrating on high speed like a washing machine when it runs. Also it is loud is this normal? Would like a goods night sleep. Thanks as always. Claudia

Also, you may want to tighten the four bolts that compress the air conditioner to the rubber seal to the roof. Take the interior trim off (there are six screws, two of which are under plastic pieces) and you will see the 4 bolts. Be sure to not over-tighten, though.

Every year or so we tighten these bolts on our air conditioners to make sure they are seated properly.

Loud, at least our front unit, seems the norm. If vented, you can close the unit and total vent, which reduces noise significantly. Vibration definitely not. Doing those checks mentioned above will likely fix.
