Lug Nuts size

I have a 2007 Monty with original wheels (China)...I have read on here that the size is 7/8" socket. I have purchased a 7/8" and a 1". The 7/8" is too small and the 1" is too big. I am getting tired running back and forth to the store to pick up a socket. Does anyone with a 2007 Monty know what size the lug nut is? Is it a metric?

Thanks for your response

I have a 05 Monty and use 22mm. Fits perfectly.

If you're buying several sockets ... it's way cheaper to just buy a set at say Sears. You'll probably end up needing them at some point down the road. Mine are 7/8". Just curious ... you are removing the plastic lug nut caps (if you have them) aren't you?

I did the same thing - got a second set of deep sockets just to keep in the trailer.

Thank-you for your comments...Dieselguy..you raised a good point about plastic covers and sure enough when I popped one off, there was the lug nut....it takes 13/16" on my trailer. ( Those plastic covers certainly look like actual lug nuts)

Ps. I have all sorts of socket sets but nt all at the large size.

Thanks again
