EST PRICE OF RV
Anyone have an idea of what a 2002 34' Montana 5th wheel would sell for? I have to come up with a price for some paperwork I'm filling out and I'm clueless. We still owe nearly $19,000 on it and I know we couldn't get that for it. It's in good condition having been lived in for 10 years.

there is a nada book for rv's like cars just punch in your model and year and it should give you a close estimate.

No idea here but you might try nadaguides.com . Just keep in mind that many of the "options" available to check to include in the cost were actually standard options included in the base price. If you get in touch with Keystone Customer service (see keystone-montana.com ) and give them the vin number they can email you or tell you all the build information including options. Everything else then would be standard. I just got our build information recently.
Good luck. Sorry I don't have specific information for you.
My bet is you can easily get the $19k and more if your rig is in good shape. But that's just a guess.

Did you check out the NADA guide. It can give you a rough idea but usually you won't get as much as the book says. Here's the link to a 02 3555 with no options, http://www.nadaguides.com/RVs/2002/K...dard-Equipment Average retail is 15.4k which would seem close since we just paid 21k for a 06 3000rk...with the price of fuel climbing fast I would unload it asap since the higher fuel goes the less you may get for it.

Thanks everyone for your great info. I did go to the NADA guide site and found out it may be worth approx $15,500.

Somehow I thought both the 2002 and the 2006 would go for more than that. Live and learn, I guess.

There is also a big difference in a trailer that's been "lived in" for 10 years and one that's been used for vacations and some weekends for the past 10 years.

You can also call your bank or credit union and speak to a loan officer and get the loan value for the vehicle.

Good luck. This should be the right time of year to sell one.

2001 (smaller model, two slides) just went for 12.5k in this park. Believe it was one of the earliest, had the flat vs rounded roof edge.

What it will be insured for can bed a good guide. I bought a '06 2955 just over a year ago. I negotiated the price from $33K down to $26,500. On the way home I called to have it covered by insurance and was told they would insure it for $26,400. I guess I did OK on my negotiations with the consignment dealer.

I was just looking at my insurance the other day on mine and it was $30,000 coverage. I thought that was a little high, although last spring the dealer offered me $24,500 on trade in. I decided to keep it after hearing all of the misfortunes and problems that everyone was having with new ones.... I have a lot of updates...JB
