Picked up our 2980RL

Well, we finally found a week of decent weather to scurry to the Cincinnati area to pick up our 2009 2980RL 10th Anniversary Edition at Couch's Campers & RV Supercenter. Jerry Couch and his staff did a great job of getting the trailer ready for us and taking care of any adjustments or problems that we found.

We of course, camped along the way back to Houston and really enjoyed the experience. It is a big move up from our travel trailer.

Even though I have been a MOC member for a couple of months maybe now I can contribute some worthwhile posts. I have already gotten much info from the thread.

Hope to see you all down the road.

Happy trails.

Thanks to everyone who responded.

The reason we bought in Ohio was price. I felt we got a good deal. Texas dealers won't negotiate much. Also Keystone has discontinued the 2980RL after the 10th Anniversary Edition. They don't build it in the Hickory Edition.

It's a long way to drive but I'm sure you will love your Montana. And Couch's Campers is a
great dealer. That's where we bought ours, too but we live in Ohio!

Thanks for responding. Our next one we will have to do some long distance research also. Now that the only camping world that also sold Montana's is closed near us, the closest dealer is now about 90 miles away, once you have one of these,it kinds of spoils you from getting another brand just because it's closer.

Several folks here purchased from Couch's campers. They do give good prices. We had a good quote from them on our 06 3400 but a dealer closer matched it.. The trip to pick it up is a adventure. Have fun...

It is a little known or forgotten fact but Couch's campers are members of this forum.
