First trip

Hey all,

We took it out for the first time over the July 4th weekend. Had a ball.

Had to get some vent covers, and also one for the bathroom skylight. Seems as soon as the sun pops up, it is daylight in there. Also, gets pretty hot in the heat of the day. The AC unit was working overtime. Guess the grandkids in and out did not help.

Found some problems, and will have to take back to Suncoast RV, to get them fixed. Hope they take care of them ok.

Also, Thanks to all for the info on the dual dump pipes.

John,

Sounds like you're well on your way to enjoying that new Monty. Hopefully most of your problems are minor ones.

Doing your breakdown cruise and having a great time to boot? Well it doesn't get much better than that.

John,

Glad you had a great time. Just picked up a new 3000RK last Saturday. Will be taking it on our first trip the last week of July. Where did you find the vent cover for the bathroom skylight? I can only find the small aquare ones at Camping World.

Ah, yes, the smiles have begun. Here's hoping you have many more years of smiles with your new Montana, John and Janice.

John,

Glad that you has great a time as we did on our first outing. We had some minor things that we have called the dealer about and they are taking care of it without any questions. We are finding that Keystone is backing their product 100%.

I too would love to know what you used on your shower. I like it dark when I sleep. We will be taking a trip to CW and buying the pillow for the vent.
