Hi From Central New York
Not really new to the forum, but it has been a long time since we were here. We are from central NY outside of Syracuse and we have property in the Tug Hill Plateau region an hour north of us. We have had our 2002 Montana Mountaineer 315RLS for 3 years now. It has served us very well as our "weekend home" on our property up north, but sad to say it is time to say goodbye. That's why I am back on the forum. We have the Montana for sale in the "Trading Post" section of the forum. We would like to build a permanent home on our property and can't keep the Montana and do that, too. It's a tough decision to make, but the right one for now. In the past, you have all been very helpful to us with any problems we had. They were minor, and were fixed with your help. If the time ever comes again to buy a TT or a 5th wheel, it will definitely be a Montana!

Jim & Ginny,
As a fellow 315RLS owner and NE local, I'll keep my eyes open for prospects for your trailer and wish you best of luck with your building project.

Jim and I appreciate that a great deal! The more eyes open the better when it comes to selling. I find one of the hardest things in trying to sell the Montana is the price. People really seem taken back when I say $22,000. Their answer is that they could buy a new one for less. I try to be very tactful when explaining that the ones they are looking at are not Montana's. People who are new to RV's (and some who are not) just aren't aware of the diffenece in quality between a high end and a low end travel trailer. Jim and I looked a lot before buying this one, and nothing even came close to the workmanship that the Montana has. Anyway, thanks again!

Good to hear from you. You have one beautiful rig and tow vehicle! Thanks for the advice!! Luckily, we have a strong marriage that has survived everything that has been thrown at it so far. Our home will be very small, so not a lot of room for changes once the final plans are drawn up. Anyway, that's all a moot point if we don't sell the Montana!

Jim, sorry to see you leave, but sometimes our paths change and sometimes for the better. Good luck.

Sorry to lose you but we do understand the situation.
Maybe you could look at the value at nadaguides.com in the rv section and print it out. Then you could show that to the doubters.

Thank you all for your kind messages. We certainly will always enjoy the Montana Forum and all of you great people. Who knows, maybe the TT won't sell and we'll remain with you!! Only time will tell.
