Norco Gearbox
My bedroom slide has the Norco cable slide system. It has been properly adjusted without issue until the past week. It now appears that the gearbox my be bad. Cables are all okay, non overlapping or off track. Moves in fine but won’t go out. I have not used the tool on it yet with a drill, but my assumption is if it is the gearbox, it still won’t go out. Has anyone else has this issue and if so, what was the fix?

Are the rollers still in place under the front of the bed? Have you loaded to much stuff under the bed, we put too much stuff in there for one trip South and had to help the motor move the slide out. Removed some of the weight and it began working propertly.

Rollers in place, not too much under bed. Coming in works fine. Gearbox jumps when activated out. Tried the drill and it will come in with the drill but not out.

OK, sounds exactly what happened to ours, including the "Jumping".
Seems about the time frame of your Monty, Norco (Accuride) got a batch of bad gear boxes from their off shore supplier. Try contacting them directly telling them you have one of the bad gear boxes and see if you can get them to send you the replacement.
I had ours replaced at our SOB Rally a couple of years ago. SOB Techs didn't have a clue, but brought the Norco Reps the next day. As soon as they heard it "Jumping", bad gear box.

They are crap, the gears inside will be stripped. They are made out of cheap Chinese white metal. Most fail either going out or coming in..
When our first went there were none available in North America, they were all on back order due in part to the number of failures.
As they go I've upgraded to the higher torque, high output model. Don't know what is different but it is quieter and the slide moves faster in both directions.
Might as well order one as you will need it.

Thanks for the feedback. I am able (barely) to muscle it open and it closes fine. My dealer can have one shortly. Will probably get this done in October.
