I am trying to remember on our 3750 and am thinking that for satellite there was a short jumper coax piece that was needed in the convenience center? I may be totally wrong but it seems I remember a six inch piece of coax but I do not remember what it connected.

Workamping in the CO mountains and all we got was PBS over the air - no cable. Thus our satellite experiment.
We go to the CO mountains near South Fork every summer for 2-3 weeks. Nothing over the air and no cable. Using Dish and a Tailgater it works great. I have my service address changed to Denver so we get all the normal sat channels plus all the local network channels in normal time. DW likes her programs. I don't watch much TV but I do like the news and local weather forecasts.

Do you have one of those $20 satellite finders? If so you can trace it backwards. Attach the receiver to one of the wall connections, turn on the receiver and check the connector in the convience center. If not light on meter, try another connection. When the green light in the meter lights you have the from the receiver to the outside connection.

Thanks again. Boggles my tiny brain how the signal can be lost in the short distance from the outside connivence center to the front living room entertainment center. Need to learn the secret of the pigtail and will keep searching for a picture. Don't have a satellite finder, but will look for one. This was supposed to be an easy system. Guess the system is fine, it's just our Montana that is complicating things.

My summer project...

A very good quality program and procedures at the factory with a great leadership team to oversee production.

Realizing that all of you are losing sleep over this....

Evidently the satellite connections are no a straight cable run between convenience center and inside entertainments center. Using a meter, it was confirmed that it doesn't come out where it went in, despite cables that appear the same on each end Apparently there is a connection between the inside and outside where Montana thought it would be useful to switch the cables and/or mislabel the terminating end. HAHAHA. Still laughing.

No more sat cable through the window! Good thing, rainy and cool here in Colorado.

Thanks to all for the help!
