Furnace

Can not get the blower to work. Have tried everything. Fuses are good, breakers are good, propane tanks are full. Tried shutting off the power to trailer thinking that would re-boot the furnace. Nothing works. I need help please

I had the same problem on my 2010 rig. Ozz told me to take out the 12 volt fuse turn it arround and put it back in. Sounds crazy but worked for me. No more issues. That's all I got.

Sometimes the simplest solutions work best. Good tip!

If you have a furnace air intake louver you can take off, remove it and see if you can find 2 blue wires. Like 22 gauge wire, like door bell wire.

Disconnect the 2 blue wires. 2 are coming from the thermostat, 2 are coming from the furnace. The 2 coming from the furnace connect them together. The furnace should run.

If the furnace runs you have a thermostat problem. If it does not run you have a furnace problem.

If the furnace does not run, do you have 12vdc at the furnace where you remove the outer cover. (if you have a Attwood furnace)

Get back to us.

The first thing to do is get your thermostat instructions and do a reset on the thermostat. We could not get either the furnace or air conditioning to work properly. After the reset all work as intended.

Thanks for the information. We just got back home and sometime this week I will take a look at this. Oh, someone told me to turn off the thermostat and cut it back on and that resets the thermostat. Well, I tried that by sliding the black switch (under thermostat) to off and then back on and the blower on the furnace still didn't come on. Is that the reset?

Off and on won't work. You have to find your manual and follow the procedure for the reset. I'd have to look it up again but on ours we had to hold in two buttons at the same time until the screen said reset. After that we could adjust the heat and AC as necessary.

Thank you for your input.I can't find my manual for my furnace.I can find all the other manuals. No one else has that problem except myself.lol Seriouslly, I did find the "track" showing a picture of the thermostat and how to work it. It did not show any buttons to push or hold. I have a 3665 RE Montana, perhaps someone has this manual for this Model and can look up "what to do ". Thanks!

What I have written down is that: you turn the thermostat off, then hold the Zone and Mode buttons down at the same time, while holding the buttons turn the thermostat on again, it should then display FF, after 2 seconds release the buttons and you should be reset.

Sounds like the OP has a standard older style thermostat, there is no "black" slide on the underside of any of the electronic thermostats that I have seen. I would remove the cover from the thermostat and you will find two wires, short those two wires which is what the thermostat does when there is a call for heat, if that does not produce action at the furnace then you have a problem with the furnace or where these wires connect to the furnace control board.

You will need to get to the control board on the furnace and check for voltages, loose wires there.

Good luck

If you have the Dometic Digital 2 Zone thermostat here is a link to the operating instructions. How to reset are on page 11.

If you do not have the digital thermostat, do as suggested earlier.

Thank you all for your input and the info you shared with me about the furnace .Sadley, it turned out to be the furnace motor. The motor is in stock at the camping place where I bought the Montana. I will have them replace it sometime in September. The cost will be $250.00. The Furnace Motor cost $80.00. For those of you who might have this kind of problem, take the time to remove the " outside furnace plate" and the S/N and model number is their.So, unless you live close by, then I will be forced to have the camping place to fix it for a grand total of $250.00. It could have been worse. Thanks again.#128522;
