Request for a little help concerning maintenance.
I have a Class “C” motor home here at my place. I got this parked here because the “expert” RV technician had quoted a very large price to repair the slide hydraulics.
The repair would have cost between $100 and $200 had the technician had the knowledge and equipment to trouble shoot the system.
I had it repaired in about 2 hours that include the modification of a piece of test equipment to fit the fitting sizes.
My request is:
Please advise me if you have had or going to have repairs to your RV hydraulic systems.
I would like to obtain the faulty equipment I am willing to pay for the shipping of the faulty cylinders and pump / motors so I can determine if there is an economic way to repair them.
Thanks for your input.
