Recently changed to a 2008 Chevy K2500HD. Same set up as before except with leather and butt warmers.

Its funny
As a Kid we argued Ford vs. Chevy vs. Mopar all the time.
I really loved my GMC 1500 but I bought a Dodge only because of the engine.
I had the Cummins in my 35 foot motorhome and it amazed me with its power.
So I bought a 2007 4x4 with the latest version of the Cummins. Excellent milage and power that never seems to quit. (except in passing above 85) but them again the new assin (sp) 6 speed transmission make a great team. Now if they only would put in an Allison it would be perfect.
The Dodge is a bit dated inside but with leather buckets, GPS the package is very servicable.
I have had mileage up to 22 Mpg at highway speed and 14.9 pulling.
Might now be as pretty as the Ford or the GM products but I paid many time less than the same equipment in either of them.

Well Rich, Your a TALL MAN for saying that!!!!! Cause I know your just saying that because of fuel mileage. It makes sense that a 6 six cylinder will do a little better that an 8 cylinder. However, the Ford and Chev really outsshine the cummins when it comes to interior looks and comfort, in other words you truck is pretter than mine. Oh, MUDCHIEF (Dennis and Linda Ward) are headed your way for the NE Rally, they are close friends Please take care of them, They don;t talk that NORTHERN TALK you know. ha ha

Got a 06 dodge 1 ton with bully dog chip and air bags pulling a 05 3400. Pulls like a dream, don't even know its back there most of the time, milage pulling about 12+ and up to 22+ empty.
Now with fuel prices the way they are guess I will be going less.

2007 Dodge 3500 MegaCab shortbed, Cummins, builtin exhaust brake (std with Cummins in 07), navigation, six speed automatic (awesome transmission), Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks with compressor/gauges, and all the bells and whistles available, although that's still short of what our Ford had. This Dodge is outstanding at towing and solo but if Dodge would only offer those few things I'd have nothing to complain about...

2003 Chevy 2500HD, Duramax/Allison. It has a 22,000 Combined Vehicle Weight Rating. Pulls the 2007 Monty 3500RL as level as can be, without air bags.
