Dual Anniversaries

On this day, 15 years ago, I quit smoking. Toughest thing I think I've ever done ... but sure glad I did. (Steve's 10th smoke-free anniversary was last November.)

AND ...

On this day four years ago, we moved into Montana2 (our 2003 3295RK) and became full-timers. Although I'm STILL trying to get used to sharing a bathroom with Steve , it's been an exciting time. We're looking forward to who-knows-how-many-more-years of full-timing and travel.

Congrats! You two are certainly a great example of enjoying full timing and have definitely given Ed and I encouragement for that great life.
Happy trails...................

Vicki - Congrats on both counts. I never tried smoking, but I can appreciate how hard it is to quit - have been around many folks who just can't give it up, even when their health is jeapordized.

Congrats on your anniversaries. Isn't it funny how you can remember the day you quit. Mine was 8/22/1984....two packs a day. Best thing I ever did.

We are full timing or sometiming yet, but are looking forward to it as soon as we sign papers on the sale of our business.

I am not looking forward to the sharing a bathroom. You will have to tell me all of your secrets to surviving with only one.

It's not really all that difficult. The one with the greatest degree of urgency gets to go first while the other dances around the bath area exclaiming "are you done yet?" and "did you fall in?" If degree of urgency is relatively equal, it's whoever gets there first. Only twice in four years have I resorted to heading to the park's bathrooms rather than waiting it out. Both times were on return from an outing.

July 12th will be three years smoke free for me and not a day oes by that I don't want one. But, that will never happen. Two years Full timing for us this June. What a life.

Steve, I usually let Bill go first cuz he doesn't take as long as I do.

Congrats Vicki and Steve, and to all the rest of you, that is a great accomplishment on both counts. Now if I could just get weaned off these shrimp in Gulf Shores, nah forget it, never happen.
