Kansas City $3.02 to $3.12
Hey Ozz, where did you find it? I'll shop at your place. Past several stations today on I-70 and U.S. 40 that were $3.45 to $3.49. Regular unleaded was $3.12. Jim
OK, Sam's club 19 hrs ago on North Oak $3.39 for Diesel
(Web-site for cheapest gas in town.) The way thingo are going, this is probably low now.

Here in Maryville, TN. it's ranging from #3.42 to $3.59. It'll probably change again by the time I head hme this afternoon. I guess the Ram will stay in the garage a while longer.

The price is up due to speculation. It will not last...We paid 369.9 yesterday and it went up 6 cents overnight.

In 2008 when diesel was a bit over $4/Gal it was due to speculation--and it did last all summer and into the fall. So what ever--"it will not last" means--I don't expect any change to a traditional price we had a few months ago for at least 9 to 12 months. Then what--time for an new Mid East problem. Time to consider short trips.

Diesel in Casa Grande, AZ is $3.89 near I10 and $3.55 further off the main road in town at Fry's and Safeway. These highway gas stations are ROBBERS!!!!!

Libya's oil production is now at 25% of normal. All Iran has to do now is fire one shot across the bow of a tanker in the Straits of Hormuz, and price will spike to $200 a barrel faster than you can say "Chinese tires!".

If you google around your will find statements by OPEC saying there is plenty of oil in the pipeline and Saudi Arabia alone says they can make up any difference. Libya exports a small % of Oil to the USA. In fact Saudi Arabia said they were increasing production and the price of a BBl of oil started down. The commodities market thrives on speculation. That is how that market works
Although there are environmental concerns on drilling for oil here there can be a balance. The folks that bought at the very high prices have only two options...Hope that the conditions get worse and the price goes higher (speculation) or get out before they loses millions. The folks who bought the tanker of oil do not want to ever see the oil but hope that speculation will drive the price up so they can sell at a profit before they have to take delivery . Watch the news..Political condition in the Middle East will improve (speculation)
the price of oil will start to drop then plummet as folk sell off to save what they can or make a lot of money. If you bought a million BBls of oil at 90.00 and sell it off at 95.00 you made a bundle of $$$$. Of couse if you bought at 90 and the price drops to 85 you are in a world of hurt there fore the plummet as folks attempt to sell of before the price drops below their purchase price..

Any one like to dabble in the commodities market???

Ladies and Gentlemen,
This is a thread about fuel prices. Please refrain from anything else. What are you paying for fuel in your area of the country. Thank you. RVWheels

Diesel at Flying J in Calgary, Alberta, Canada is $1.03 per litre.
4.5 litre = 1 Imperial Gallon
1 Imperial Gallon = 0.84 US Gallon

Therefore

Diesel costs $4.64 per Imperial Gallon. Being the US gallon is smaller this equates to $3.84 per US Gallon.

Looking forward to heading to Nevada in 2 weeks so that I can save $.40 per US gallon.

Just paid $3.359 in KCMO this afternoon. The higher prices I saw yesterday were right on the highway.

Gulf Shores AL. area is $3.56 per gal. Toped off my aux. tank and regular tank with only 52 gals of 120 gal. possibility and it cost me $187.00. Now that gets into any budget, I don't care who you are. But as I have said before, tomorrow is Sat. and dinner will be ate at the fiver, not out on the town. Ok for us, but not for the economy. Were not spending so slow progress of our economy just got slower. Oops........better stop there, might get a little flack.

Have a good day all.
