Tires for trailers just FYI

Sam's club has Greenball Tow master trailer tires.
ST235/80R16 and ST 225/75R15 10/32 tread depth 3,500# for the 16's
$126.62 each. $15.00 a tire install, Balance, lifetime road hazard.
The guy said it covered everything except vandalism.

Just FYI prices are K.C. Mo.

Our vendors can be located in China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, and India.

That is kind of scary to me. Guess one could take a look and be sure they're not made in mainland China. BTW, the first sentence is a C&P from their site.(Greenball)

I am definitely not going with them, I just saw the ad sheet and thought I would pass it on.
I did have a set on my first little 20' TT and they worked well for the two years I spent rebuilding it.

Sam's Club also has BFG Commercial T/A. Plus a free Premium installation package, until Feb.3. $141.00. Good quality, best value. An American made tire. And you can enjoy the drive, instead of watching your rear view mirror for flying rubber.

Every Sam's Club we've been said they will not install any tires on trailers. If you bring them in, they are not the wiser.

Sam's club in Tucson would NOT install our G614's. We had them installed by Beaudry, before the closure. Sam's said they did not have the space nor the equipment to remove, mount and replace. From watching a couple guys in the garage, I'm glad they sent me packing......

The Sam's Club in Mission, TX installed our BFG Commercial T/A's on our prior Montana. So at least one will do it.

Last month Sam's told me there road hazard would not apply to a camper. Plus they will not install tire on a rim brought in just to be mounted.

Wow, it really depends on which Sam's and who is on duty at that time. Looks like they need a good managers meeting...or a good manager.

We had the BFG Commercial tires installed on our 2011 Monty in October at our local Walmart, they were glad to do it. Also got the road hazard ins.

Do yourself a favor and don't put ST tires on the trailer. Get the best price you can on BFG Commercial TA's and drive worry free for a long time. The BFG's are a great tire for the price and my last set was American made. I converted to LT tires many years ago and have never looked back.

I replaced all five China Booms with BFG Commercial T/A. So far they seem to run cooler, but haven't run them in peak summer time yet.

John,
I replaced the Goodyear's a couple of months ago with Maxxis tires and noticed the same thing.....that they definitely do run cooler.
