LP gas regulator problem
We're in Mexico and not planning to return to the US for another three months or I'd know what to do(get tech help), so if anyone has any input I'd like to hear. We always set out LP regulator to the tank we are using so we know when that tank has run dry. This just happened and switched to the full tank and everything seemed normal. Later that day discovered that gas was pouring out of the regulator. Turned off the full tank so we wouldn't blow up and then started trouble shooting. Regardless of which tank is selected, the regulator works as if "both" were selected, so can't haul off the empty tank without turning off the full tank. The regulator isn't leaking now, but it makes us nervous since we have to use the LP system. So far we haven't found anyone here who will touch it. Talked to some folks in the CG and they and their friends have experienced the same problems with the regulators on their 5Ws (newer rigs).
