Brake problem update-Happy with Montana service

About a week ago, I posted about a brake repair we had to have done due to over-greasing of the hub on our new 3150RL while on the first trip out with it.

Four days ago, I spoke with our dealer and then to Keystone Customer Service Rep. He requested a short narreative about the circumstances of the failure and the pictures I had taken during the repair which I emailed to Keystone that day. I also advised them I had the old parts in my possession.

Today I got a response from Keystone stating they were sending me a UPS "call tag" for me to ship them the failed parts at their expense. They said that upon reciept of same, they would reimburse me for the entire repair.

To me, that is very good service and makes me a happy camper.

Great post about how things should be. I'm happy for you guys as well especially since it sounds like you did all the correct prep work.

Warren,
Great news. Thanks for sharing. Of course if you don't actually have the $$$$ in your hands I wouldn't go out and celebrate too soon! See you folks soon. Dennis

When I posted this on May 3rd, I had no idea what would transpire or how long it may take to get reimbursement from Montana for this brake problem on our 3150's maiden voyage brake problems.

Happily, I received notification from Keystone today that our claim had been approved and a check for the full amount is in the mail. Also the 5th wheel has been back to the dealer where the other right side brake assy. was completely replaced due to factory "overgreasing" and both left side assys.. were cleaned up and the wheel seals replaced.

I feel this was timely and excellent service by Keystone to a consumer problem and they are to be complemented.
