KOA West, N.O.
Went a little farther today than anticipated. We stopped at Hass-Cienda CG in Poplarville, MS and left. Wide open field with back-in near the tree line. It was 2 p.m. and there was no shade showing anywhere and it was 95 degrees.
So we headed on down the road and stopped at KOA West, New Orleans. All back-in, but very, very wide cement sites, and very level. Bubble side to side is dead even. After I raised Hanna and pulled away, back to back was already level. A little pricey, but hey, it's N.O.
Tonights menu was:
Bugs (Crawdads) 2 pounds
Shrimp (1 1/2 doz)
Crab (1 dozen)
Catfish with some nice Cajun sauce on a bed of rice
Gumbo
Boiled potatoes
Corn on the cob
Salad
Bread
drink
