Slide Supports
i have a 2017 305RL i is there a benefit in buying slide supports to take strain off body? would this limit overall movement?

Slide supports are not recommended a slight shift can cause serious damage to the slide.

There is no benefit to slide supports except for the guy selling them. You don't need then and as stated above they can damage your camper.

I totally disagree with that. We have been using slide supports for years. and it helps remove some of the shake in the unit. The trick is to only snug them up under the front outer slide frame and no more.

We were told by a Lippert rep at a rally that slide supports are not a good idea.

Wow - this is like asking the Allis Chalmers Forum which spark plugs are good - thank you all for the feedback.
Any good ideas how how to limit shake? i can feel my dog shift in here bed on the other end of the unit. I'm sure a hitch support would benefit some.
What about stair supports to limit stress on stair frame?

No hitch support will not help. The strong arm system is said to be the best answer. I am about ready to install it on my rig.
But maybe time to get a smaller lighter dog.

The only way to completely get rid of bounce is to get the trailer off the tires, as in jack it up and put blocks under the frame. It's the tires that contribute to the bounce.
