domestic thermostat

I have a 2018 3791 RD and I despise the thermostats. While trying to adjust them they change to a different mode and also go into Celsius scale instead of Fahrenheit. Sometimes it is impossible to get it right. I want to punch it but that won't solve my problem. Anyone else have this problem?

A slight brush of the shirt sleeve changes the format. To get it back to Fahrenheit hold the 2 up/down arrows to change it back. A slight touch of the finger is all it takes to change the functions of these thermostats. Yes they are a tad too sensitive.

I will 2nd shovelhead. Whew, what a self control thermostat. My DW can just bump the wall getting into bed, and it changes everything. If I could just go to the hardware and get a better one, I would, but I’m stuck with it. Right before I want to punch it, my wife makes me count to ten, then I’m ok. Lol.

Took me a while, but I'm ok with them now and it's a good thing since I have three of them now.

Never touch it, leave it to the wife.

This has been an issue for a while. Dometic knows it and they are replacing the faceplate (the source of the problem). Take a look HERE and look at Posts #37, 38, 41, and then, the money shot, #44.
