Decals Again!

Our 09 10th Anniversary 3400RL is in at our dear Dealers to follow-up on a number of warranty items. The decals on our unit were spider web cracked on the front and on the passenger side; all others seemed to be okay. Today the Service manager called me to say he Monty is ready but the wrong decals came in so they would have to reorder to get the correct ones. Our agreement is that he will have the decals come in later but we will have them installed in the spring. I asked him if this was a problem? He stated that they do a lot of decal replacement day after day as they are a very large RV dealer. Again it seems like this is an added cost that is naturally inputted into the cost of selling another RV and the buyer has to absorb this when purchasing a new unit. Why, why can't the manufactures spec for quality in this area as there are quality graphic companies out there that produce decals that will last forever and maintain color quality. I have praise for my dealer in both selling this product yet care for the customer that is in jeopardy to have a unit sit there while they install another set of graphics in less than a year!! Please do not label me as RV bashing as I compare and have a very responsible position in my career and could not possibly put my customers at a disadvantage with an insuperior product over and over again. For what it is worth, we will be writing to Keystone with a copy to our Dealer on the above situation and identifying the many others that Dealers have to continually replace decals because of poor graphic material. We will naturally do this in colaboration with our Dealer.

Our 08 3585SA had spiderweb cracks on the passenger side front and had it replaced last month at our dealer. It took about 2-3 hours to replace. The new one has some teeny tiny bubbles in it but the dealer says they will disappear. We will see.
