I was told by a large Montana dealership Service Mgr, who also has a Montana, that your best bet is a standard carpet store and their installers. Most reputable carpet places have experience with RVs and slides and he had his done this way. He is very happy with the price and the service.

*On Edit~ When the time comes, that is what we plan on doing...

Prior unit we found a guy that had redone carpet in a lot of boats.

He was GOOD!!

Fox RV in Goshen area will do it! My 3295 he said would be about $2,000 and 4 days??

Believe Hazmic had his done in the RGV for considerably less. Maybe he will check in here soon, or you could PM him.

Good luck.

I would also be interested in knowing where a decent place to get done. Mine is really starting to show signs of wear. I have an 06 3400 and do not like the carpet. thanks for any help. Rick

I would suggest going to - or calling - several RV dealerships in your general. Doesn't necessarily have to be a Keystone dealer. Ask who installs carpeting in RVs. Most dealerships have experience with carpet replacement issues. If you have a couple hits on the same carpet installer, that would be a good clue on who to use.

*On Edit~ Also on a clarification point...

I MEANT "...a Service Mgr at a large Montana dealership...", NOT that the Service Mgr was large. Just wanted to clear that up after I re-read my post...

We're hoping to have ours replaced (also a 3400RL) next year.

We replaced the "center" carpet with wood laminate.

Next, we'll replace the slide and upstairs carpet.
