Sirius and Montys home theatre

Hi, has anyone had problems tuning the Sirius transmitter to an FM frequency on the sound system in the fiver?
I have tuned both to the same unused frequency (several) and all I get is static. It works on our home system so it's not the Sirius receiver/transmitter
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions

Peter

I found I had to turn on the TV antenna amplifier (green light) to get FM. If that is the case you may have to put a different FM antenna on the back of your sound system to use it with the Sirius.
Let us know what you find.
Cheers,

We use our Sirius in the RV all the time. We have the main unit in TV. Just leave the Sirius on and tune in to the same FM station we have in the TV. Have the green power boost on and works great.

I have an XM unit and just plug a "Y" connector into the entertainment aux input center and the single plug into the XM radio. Hook up the antenna to the XM radio, move it to where reception is good and tune the center to AUX2.

I replaced my amp with a Panasonic Home Theather system and my Sirus Plug and Play works great. No problem at all Chuck

Thanks for all your comments. I think it's an antenna problem as I don't get anything on the radio. DVD's and CD's work fine, and now the Sirius works once I connected a patch cord from the audio out on the Sirius and the Aux in on the entertainment centre.
Thanks Tim 43.
