Water Pump - loss of pressure

I have the 5.7 extreme Sureflo pump and the accumulator installed on my 3075 Monty. However it still makes very load noise when it turns on and after a few seconds the pressure drop significantly. If I turn off a faucet the pressure will build up again but once the faucet runs a while the pressure drops off every time. Any suggestions on fixing the pressure drop problem or the noise problem. Maybe they are related? Thanks JOhn

John, sounds like you might have air in the system. I assume that you have bleed the air out but might still have trapped or it is sucking air. Might want to check the connections. Also the pump is warrantied for 3 years.

John,
Have you notice that on the front of the pump there is a Phillips-head screw? You can adjust this screw just a little with a faucet turned on and I believe you'll notice a difference in pressure. That screw adjustment is there for just that reason. Most of us don't notice it and just think it's a screw to hold the pump head to the motor. Give it a try.

Thanks, I thought I had all of the air out of the system, does anyone have a fool proof method of making sure it is all out?
