Cute little ankle bitter. But take a close look at photo 047. He just can't wait to sink them K9s into someone's ankle, probably mine.

Actually Lorraine and I love dogs and we will be getting one as soon as they train them to pick up after themselves. And we ain't talking about their toys.

Ahhhh, that's really great, Ron and Thelma. It didn't take long to become king of the roost, did it?

So far he has been real gentle. We took him over this weekend to the nursing home where my Mom is. The people over there just go nuts over him. They all want to hold him and tolerates it well. We had a black poodle about ten years ago when we lost her. Don't worry Glen he won't bite you if you feed him. Thanks for the comments.

Just a little update. We went to a state park this past week for spring break. We bought a soft side crate with openings on top and front. They have zippers that keep them closed. Twice this week when we came back to the trailer he had opened up the zippers on the front and escaped. It was kind of funny when I opened the door and there he was. Smart little fellow. He had a good time camping. This was his first time out and did well.

Sounds like you need a padlock. Aren't traveling pets fun! We took a dinner cruise on the Savannah River last night and got home later than usual. Our great watchdog was hiding on the bed until she was sure it was us! She barks and sounds real tough when we're here.

Dusty and Don, we had Schnauzers for over thirty years so they still have a special place in our heart. I know they're great dogs and great travelers.

We are looking to adopt either a Retired Racing Greyhound and if we can't then we will get a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Both have awesome temperments and travel well.
Eli looks like may have won the doggie lotto
See ya

We have two little shelties...Maddi & Bayleigh...sisters... littermates, actually. Never in this world thought we would have more than one dog...now I don't know what we would do with just one...they play together, eat together, sleep together (well, ok with us) Years ago we had a poodle mix, Fifi...she would have been a perfect playmate for Eli...I love that name. Gary always had a pet as a child...I never had one until we were married...we have had 10 dogs over the past 40 years...such wonderful companions...and these two are GREAT travelers...Oh how I long to be one of you full timers! I am not sure I can wait!
