We justify for the same reasons as Richfaa. This will, hopefully, be our only camper, so we wanted something for the "long haul". We are full timing and have no plans yet to settle down, we have no other home so this is it. Total cost for our IS was $5400. This included the IS, Never lube hubs, disc brakes and a new Prodigy controller as the factory controller would not operate the brakes properly, something about a voltage difference. As I said earlier, IF we were trading every couple of years we would not have done this. We were just trying to insure we have the best rig available for our lifestyle, this, of course, is an individual decision and not meant to cast a shadow on anyone elses camper. So far we are happy with our decision. We will be stopping in Elkhart this fall (MorRyde plant), to have the system checked on its one year anniverssary. We will post our results after this inspection.....
Everyone has their own opinion of what constitutes the BEST rig for them. I respect their opinions also. I feel this is the best for us. Final answer and I'm sticking to it!!!!! Good luck with your decisions and RVing......
