On Friday November 22nd 1963 I had the honor and privilege to be part of “The Old Guard” Presidential Salute Battery.

Well, many of my closest friends will tell you that I have blue blood running in my veins. My wife bought me a vinyl "FORDZILLA" decal that I put across the top of the windshield on my very first ford diesel p-up. It has just stuck with me for years.

I guess my name all started when I was a young kid and has stuck with me in one way or the other all through life. DEADEYE - When I was a youngster growing up on a small Iowa farm, I use to plunk rabbits with a 22 rifle. Became a pretty good shot and the other kids called me DEADEYE. Went into the military for 4 year and scored 97 bullseyes out of 100 on the rifle range. EXPERT Marksman - good enough to be a sniper. Still got the name DEADEYE by the other troops. Got out of the service and later in civilian life I was declared legally blind in one eye from being a type 1 diabetic. Still called DEADEYE. Had operations on both eyes and now have vision of 20/25 without glasses. Still called DEADEYE Been a long row to hoe, but I can still see and they still call me DEADEYE.....JB

After 21 years as a Navy Diver my user id is a no brainer. Also since I have been accused of having no brains in the past then I guess exnavydiver is a no brainer...

4 or 5 years ago when I joined this forum, it took me several days to come up with Montana In My Future. At that time, Gail and I really wanted one but, could not get the local dealer, who since went out of business, to do any business with us. So, went up to Tiara RV Sales, where we bought the 30' Outback Sydney Edition and traded it on the "Challambridge".

Now that Tiara sells the Montana line up and I work for a competitor, I dread the day of the decision I will have to make.

Yamaha Mama, We had an 18 foot Yamaha Exciter with 2 1100cc engines. Somewhere around here, I have a tee shirt that says, "Yamaha Jet Pilot" on it. Fun machines!!

8.1 liter engine with an Allison transmission. I first used this on Pickuptruck.com and carried it over here.
