Winter Sewer Connection
At the site posted in another thread I read that when parked in subfreezing weather one should not use the usual sewer hose because the cold will make it brittle and it will end up with lots of pinholes. I believe I experienced that problem last January but thought it was the hose laying on gravel that did the damage.
So what do you folks do for a sewer hose in cold weather. Do you go ahead and use the standard hose? Do you use pvc pipe instead of hose as suggested in the article?
We're going to be doing about three months in cold weather so this is of serious interest to me. I don't want to have to haul around a large piece of pipe all year if I can avoid it. I don't really have room for a number of smaller pieces, either.
Thoughts and suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
