Warped dining table base

Had a water problem in slide with dining table. Got it all dried. Removed table to be sure I had dried the carpet under table where it screws down to floor. The base plate of the table is bowed up on the front and rear. Warped, I'm sure, anyway not flat. Does anyone know who supplies these tables to Montana? Would like to replace just the base plate with same stain if possible.

P.S. ALWAYS TURN OFF WATER PUMP WHEN TRAVELING!!!! Gooseneck kitchen faucet rotated 180 degrees pointing directly over table (with slide in) and faucet handle got bumped/vibrated slightly on very rough road. Had a huge surprise when we stopped.

Thanks for any help.

Year, Make, and Model are good points to reveal when requesting information. Things can/do change.

You can buy a new table from Trekwood.com they carry all the parts for the Montana and Keystone line. Or you can go shop and find a new one.

If not too bad, maybe you can use a belt sander?

Also has a couple of cracks where base pieces are bonded together. Thanks for suggesting sander. may have to try that and maybe can re-glue cracks. Checking out replacing either the base, or may have to get all new table. Either way , gotta have something.

You might find a woodworker locally that could make one.

Yep, Trekwood is $209 for complete new table. Just need the warped base replaced to make mine good again. It'll all come out good in the end.

Thanks.

Whatever you do , be extra cautious when screwing the table base down to the floor; some have used screws too long and penetrated the floor and gouged the vinyl floor covering on the main floor when they ran their slide out!

Didn't know it but I have a neighbor 2 doors down who does woodwork. I posted on "NextDoor" (a neighborhood network system) that I need a woodworker and he called. Came over last night and looked at it and is going to take care of it for me....FREE! Hooray! Thanks to all who replied . And I'll be sure not to use too long of a screw.

Speaking of screw length, I find that hard to determine. I don't think the floor is too thick, so the difference between too long and too short is small. If you don't get it attached too well, it will work loose in a few months of driving down the road and leaning on the table while dining (I know, sonny, keep your elbows off the table. :-) )

Shouldn’t be hard to determine screw length in this case. Length of the old screws, thickness of old base, and thickness of new base will tell if old screws will work, or if you need longer or shorter screws.
