We made it to Prescott Az
We got here yesterday and Carol had to work today. We are in Pine Lawn Ranch Mobile Home & RV Park. We chose this one as it is close to the hospital Carol works at for 12 weeks. This is a beautiful park with lots of trees but spaced well for our solar to get plenty of sun. The spot we're in was pretty tricky to get into as we had to bend/back the Monty around a trailer house in a U shape and were people home to move their cars? no. It was tight and I had to do a lot of jockeying to get it right, but we did it. Not sure how we are going to get it out when it's time to leave, but we'll cross that bridge when the time comes. To date, this was the most challenging spot we've ever parked in.

Glad you made it with no scratches or dents. Our winter gig last year was like that. Took about an hour to get it where I wanted it for the winter. Those experiences are no fun, but I bet you feel good having accomplished it.

You better believe it. My wife sure knows me well as we were using our cell phones on speaker to communicate and when I stopped one time, she came over the phone and said "don't you do it". After we got parked I asked her what she meant and she said she could tell I was thinking about putting the truck in 4 wheel drive and scooting that car over about a foot. I really don't think I would have hurt it that bad and we've got full coverage insurance. She knows me so well, it's scary sometimes.

What is Prescott like in January? Is it too far north to have warm weather?

I was talking to a guy a few minutes ago and I ask him that same thing. He said it gets pretty cold at night, but usually warms up into the 60's during the day. If they get any snow it's gone by noon. Our elevation is 5418' where we are setting and in our experience 5000' is about the transition line between hot and cold from the desert and the mountains.
We are hoping to winter in Yuma, but you never know. If Carol likes it here and want's to extend another 12 - 13 weeks after this assignment we may have to bundle up and see what it's like. Since I'm disabled and she is my "sugar mama", she generally gets what she wants. You know, if Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. I do get to go fishing, if my housework is all done though.
