New truck, hitch and steps.
Here it is.....finally. Was planning on buying a new 2017 F350 but beloved wife found this 2016 on the dealers lot. A left over? Can't believe someone didn't scoop this one up. They were ready to deal and we were in the right place at the right time (a first for me).
Within a week after receiving the truck we had a new B&W hitch installed. Today I installed the auxiliary steps under the running boards so 'short people' can enter/exit with some ease.
Anyway, we got way more truck for way less than the 2017 would have cost us. Hope to put this one to good use this camping season.
See ya'll soon
Sorry two pics are sideways. Can't seem to flip 'em.

Very nice, I like the white color! Btw, what is the container in your delta chest? It looks interesting. The steps look nice as well. We all may need that in the future. I have utilized your local mines in the past for a trailer. (Not to far from Erie)

cp, that container is a 15 gallon fuel tank. I found it at Tractor Supply several years ago. Since the short bed Fords only have a 29 gallon fuel tank I thought some extra fuel would be a good idea. I use a battery powered fish tank pump to transfer the fuel when needed. And thanks to the feds and their regulations, the new truck has a 26 gallon tank. They had to make room for the DEF tank. Ah yes, the mines. Neat place. They used to grow mushrooms in there many years ago. Now they have expanded the place. They still store rvs, boats, etc. And medical supplies, and who knows what the govt. has in there.

Congratulations Slufoot!!! Not sure what you fiver you tow, but I usually set the B&W up all the way rearward and all the way upward until it is towed with the first time. That way you are sure of cab and bedrail clearance. Adjustments can be made after measurements taken. Beautiful truck!!!! I want one with the exhaust brake but I'm afraid the divorce would be too expensive

Congratulations on your new TV and accessories, nice find and they were giving great incentives to the buyers of the 16's. Pretty well proven track record verses probably a really good real new model of Fords Super Duty lineup. I know I have been on the fence on what to do but it looks like I will still be a year or two from getting a new TV. Enjoy your new TV and happy roads to you.

Thanks DW. I really hated to trade the old one. I get attached to my vehicles, especially my trucks. It was a 2008 F350 Super Cab, short bed with only 53K on it. But we hope to continue traveling for at least another 10 years You know, the '08 was dropping in trade in value and the new ones are not getting any cheaper. We were at a point where now was the time to make the move. Another two, three years and the difference between the old and new would be so great that it might not be doable at the time.
I had to laugh though. When I told the young salesman I was trading a 2008 he said "oh, we'll just send that to the auction" . But four days later it was featured on their web site as a super clean, low mileage Super Duty. They had it all cleaned up and out front. They were asking $3500 over trade in (about right I guess). It was gone two days later. I sure hope it found a good home.
