We'll be there May 7th through 21st. It is our annual May Pilgrimage. I fish, she lays on the beach, & we pig out on fresh seafood. Does it get any better than that? I have made some friends in the area that I can go out in the gulf fishing with. I chip in on their fuel bill. It's much more fun than a commercial charter.

The weather is great! Love the seafood also. In the 80's. Last week you could not move on Interstate 98. I think 80% went home over the weekend. You can get anywhere you want to on any road now. 1st time here. Beautiful. Leaving here on Sat. to St. Augustines for a few days then back home. Heads up disel is $4.20 once you get off the Interstate heading to the panhandle. Fill up before you start crossing over.

Are you at Topsail in Florida or North Carolina?? Topsail in Florida is our favorite campground of all that we have been at. We will return this year for our annual Thanksgiving trek. On edit: Whoops, never noticed the reference to 98, which means Florida. Hope you have as much fun there as we always do!!

Bingo, I would love to share some stories while camped at Topsail. But we are working as volunteers there July and August and the DW will want to be home for the holidays.
I know you guys have had some great times down there on Thanksgiving so I will make sure I don't leave a mess for you guys.

What we need is for someone to train an Armadillo to visit us. Cathy has been eager to see one since we have been going there!!!

Why in the world would you want to see an armadillo? I have them here in my yard. They dig deep holes under the shrubs and generally cause a lot of problems. State of Florida says I am welcome to kill them however I like other than poison. Wish I could use a gun here in my sub!
