Wine Racks

Hi Montana Lovers,
Any ideas on what to do with the wine rack storage over the microwave? I am afraid to use it to transport wine.
Thanks

Before we bought our 2017 we had the dealer take it out and use it for extra storage.

Modify it for kitchen items; spices, wraps (aluminum foil, etc), pot holders, towels, etc

We took the front cross pieces off and use it as a spice rack. A short curtain rod holds them in place when in motion.

Took my wine rack out and contacted resolutions, they make a door with hardware to match your cabinets.

We never tow our fifth wheel with wine in the racks. We stow the wine as we do with all the other loose stuff. Even the dealer's technician recommended that during the PDI.

Too warm for the wine anyway right over the microwave.

Took ours out and put magnetic latches on the front piece. Now use to store napkins and paper towels etc.

Any good local and cabinet maker could install latching doors possibly without removing the wine rack.

We pulled off the grating. It is only tackedd on. and we use it for extra storage. Glass tumblers in beer cozies store well. We put an expandable curtain rod across the middle when traveling.

The real name is RV Cabinet Solutions. They started out on FaceBook (a member of the MOC Group there) and now have a website. https://www.rvcabinetsolutions.com/?...-5YgVKpVUV9-L8

If you a FaceBook person (and some ask why?) then this link may help

Just another fine example of people who don't use campers designing them! Anyone who has ever actually towed one of these rigs more than a couple miles would immediately understand that the wine rack is just there as bling to sell the camper. It really isn't functional.

IF the engineers actually had to hook up and tow these rigs they MIGHT learn a thing or two. I don't mean have someone else tow it somewhere and the engineer just sleep in it a couple of nights. The engineers REALLY need to understand the ENTIRE process of owning and using an RV!!!!!

Either the engineers are idiots or Keystone is intentionally adding sales bling knowing its useless.
