Since weight is a critical issue, I used to carry an AB machine and 50 pounds of dumbells with us, but then saw on another RV forum, that someone ditched all that for 8 pounds of workout equipment. So I bought the same system, and besides walking and hiking and washing the truck and RV, I use this piece of equipment that comes apart and fits under your bed, or couch. Here is the link. https://www.gorillabow.com/products/gorilla-bow-travel There are also all kinds of videos on their main website https://www.gorillabow.com/blogs/workout-videos

E-Bikes
We recently bought E-Bikes. My wife has been a road-biker for years, but I was never interested. We usually ride on the Air Force Academy, same track as the Olympic bicycle team, and brother, it can be tough, especially when the wind is blowing. My wife tried an E-Bike and then surprised me with one. I LOVE it!! You have to pedal, it won't push you like a moped, it just helps you at whatever level you need (select OFF, ECO, NORM, or HIGH). You can select gears like a normal road bike. Battery is good for 50 miles or so, depending on how much help you ask for. Now, I have not found a hill I cannot power up with the right gear and a little E-help. We put them on a bike rack at the back of our 37 footer when we travel. The great thing about an E-Bike is you can set the level of your workout no matter how steep the hills, just like if you were on an elliptical. They are heavy compared to a regular road bike, about 45-50 lbs, but you really don't notice it. Fairly pricey, but so worth it for this 64 year old who wants to get back in shape.

Exercise
We bike to and from Pickleball. A couple of hours of Pickleball stretches every part of your body and the biking is great low impact .

Pump iron, running three miles on the treadmill after that do stair climber, I work the abs, I have been doing that since I was 14 years old now I'm 65 yrs. Bend press 250 lbs I was bending almost 400 lbs, leg press about 500 lbs. I try to work out at least three times a week, it's hard sometimes because I'm a pastor of an awesome church.

The DW rides her bicycle and I walk every morning. I try to get between 10 and 15 miles a week of "brisk" walking.
Between taking care of my own rig and vehicles, plus some different hobbies, I am on my feet all day. We are careful with our diet. So far we have kept extra weight off and stayed in pretty good shape while full timing.

Very close to my routine. I just need more golf courses near by.
Heard of a guy once that was fanatical about diet, exercise, weight, routine. Didn't live any longer...it just seemed like it.

One thing about having an active dog with you all the time you have no choice when it comes to a minimum amount of exercise. No matter how cold or tired theres always one more walk before bed lol.

What ever you do just do something you enjoy. If you don’t enjoy your exercise you will probably quit.

We have the black card Planet Fitness membership as well, as we travel we try to get within a reasonable driving distance from where we are staying and make an effort to go every other day. I am 59 and Lisa is 51.

gave up
I just watch an old Jane Fonda exercise tape. At my age that`s all I need to get my heart beating at elevated levels.
