Before I bring in the slides I check for leaves and such and remove them on all four sides, then after the slide is retracted I wipe the slide roof and any sides I can reach off with an old towel and then I know the slide is dry and clean and it gives me a chance to see if any bugs made there way in also. I hate doing it but its part of the maintenance to make sure the slide seals, sides and bottoms are all clean. what is outside remains outside.
